To Arkansas!
So Win told me last night that we are going to hang out with his dad in Arkansas today (Dec 27). Kinda short notice, eh? I was planning on going with him anyway, but I wasn’t ready for it to be so soon after Christmas. I also stayed up ‘til 5:30 last night talking with Farmer, Win, and Kelly. At least I can sleep in the car.
The downside to all of this is that I’m going to miss...
Up yours, UPS
This is the second time I have missed UPS delivering a package to my apartment. Apparently since it was overnight shipping, I have to sign at the door. Well, since I sleep in until like noon, I keep missing them coming by. Anyway, part of what I ordered is my brother’s Christmas present, so that’s a real bummer. The other half is this peacoat, since I like peas.
It's Christmas
I’m ready for next semester to start. And this weather isn’t very festive: 61, cloudy, and humid. Thank you, Mississippi.
I started this to push myself to write more often. I write enough for my classes, but that is academic writing, and I don’t usually enjoy doing it. So, this is an attempt to get my writing juices flowing again. Lately I just write poems and random thoughts...
